Bot-It Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information.

Information you provide us directly

• Your username, password, email address and, optionally, your Meta (Facebook) or Google account when you register for a Bot-It account.
• Profile information you provide, such as your first and last name and picture. This allows you to maintain a profile on Bot-It.
• Your user age range from Meta (Facebook), collected at registration to determine the type of automation services you may use.
• Communications between you and Bot-It, including account verification, feature updates, and technical and security notices. You may not opt out of Service-related emails.

Analytics information

We use analytics tools to measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the sites you include in our Service, frequency of use, and other information that helps us improve the Service. We combine this analytics information with information from other users so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify a particular individual user.

Device identifiers

When you use a mobile device to access our Service, we may access, collect, monitor, or store one or more device identifiers. Device identifiers are small data files or similar structures stored on or associated with your mobile device that uniquely identify it.

A device identifier may provide us or a third-party partner with information about how you browse and use the Service and may help provide reports, personalized content, and marketing. Some features may not function properly if device identifiers are impaired or disabled.

2. How We Use Your Information

In addition to the specific uses described in this Privacy Policy, we may use information we receive to:

• Help you efficiently access your information after you sign in.
• Remember information so you do not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you use the Service.
• Provide personalized content and information, which may include online ads or other marketing.
• Provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service.
• Develop and test new products and features.
• Monitor metrics such as visitor totals, traffic, and demographic patterns.
• Diagnose or fix technology problems.
• Automatically update the Bot-It application on your device.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Bot-It, or the group of companies of which Bot-It is a part, without your consent except as noted in this Policy.

Parties with whom we may share your information

• We may share your information with third-party app sponsors (“Sponsors”) that have signed agreements with Bot-It. This information may allow Sponsors to deliver targeted advertisements they believe will interest you.
• We may remove identifying parts of data and share anonymized data. We may also combine your information with other information so it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information.

What happens in the event of a change of control

If we sell or otherwise transfer part or all of Bot-It or our assets to another organization—for example, through a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, or liquidation—your name, email address, and other information collected through the Service may be among the transferred items. The buyer or transferee must honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy.

Responding to legal requests and preventing harm

We may access, preserve, and share your information in response to a legal request if we have a good-faith belief that the law requires it. We may also do so when we believe it is necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud and other illegal activity; protect ourselves, you, and others; conduct investigations; or prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information may be retained for an extended period when it is subject to a legal obligation, government investigation, investigation of possible policy violations, or an effort to prevent harm.

4. How We Store Your Information

Storage and processing

• Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where Bot-It, Service Providers, or Sponsors maintain facilities.
• Bot-It, Sponsors, or Service Providers may transfer information, including personal information, across borders. If you are in the European Union or another region with different data-protection laws, your information may be transferred to a jurisdiction that does not have the same protections.
• By registering for and using the Service, you consent to these transfers and to the use and disclosure described in this Privacy Policy.
• We use commercially reasonable safeguards and take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting account access. However, Bot-It cannot guarantee that information transmitted to us will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account information secret and controlling access to emails between you and Bot-It. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of other organizations.

5. How You Can Request Deletion of Your Information

Inactive account deletion

Accounts that have been inactive for more than 90 days without an active subscription will be subject to deletion.

Request deletion

You may request deletion of your full Bot-It profile at any time by emailing the Bot-It Support Team. Your data will be removed from the Bot-It system within 24 business hours of the request.

Removed data will include your username, password, email address, optionally connected Meta (Facebook), Apple, or Google account, profile details such as your name and picture, and automation data.

6. Your Choices About Your Information

Your account information and profile/privacy settings

• Update your account at any time by logging in and changing your profile settings.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in those communications. You may not opt out of Service-related communications such as account verification, feature updates, or technical and security notices.

How long we keep your user content

Following termination or deactivation of your account, Bot-It, Sponsors, or Service Providers may retain information, including profile information and user content, for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Bot-It does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under 18. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible. If you believe we may have information from or about a child under 18, please contact us.

8. How to Contact Us About a Deceased User

In the event of the death of a Bot-It user, please contact us. We usually communicate by email. If we require other information, we will contact you at the email address provided in your request.

9. Other Services

We are not responsible for the practices of websites or services linked to or from our Service, including their information or content. When you follow a link from our Service to another website or service, this Privacy Policy does not apply; your activity is subject to that third party's rules and policies.

Bot-It is not responsible for incorrectly booked appointments made using our Service. You are responsible for ensuring that all data is entered correctly.

11. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
